My wife Heather, our son Clark, and I are proud residents of Shoreline in the Briarcrest Neighborhood. We moved to Shoreline because of the great schools, the trees and open space, and the great sense of community the City provides.
I am honored to serve as your member of the Shoreline City Council. We have taken great strides to improve the quality of life in Shoreline, by investing in our parks, roads, and public safety, while keeping our City’s budget balanced and sustainable. I represent the City at the Suburban Cities Association and the Association of Washington Cities and serve as an alternate on the Puget Sound Regional Council Growth Management Policy Board.
I earned a doctorate from the University of Washington in 2012. I was honored to attend as a labor delegate at the 2012 Democratic National Committee, and represent the State as the Native American Caucus Chair. Before coming to Shoreline, I served as a legislative assistant during two sessions in the Oregon legislature.
